Welcome to the first edition of the Fish Carnival. The fish carnival is a place where we collect articles, stories, and links about everything fish. If you’re interested in contributing to our Fish Carnival then please visit our contact page and submit your information. Our goal for the fish carnival is to collect articles from fish owners to offer tips, tricks, and useful information about all types of pet fish.

Pet Fish
China Blog submits the article How Do You Know What Fish Enjoy. A great story about Chinese philosophers contemplating how one would know what a fish would enjoy. The story makes a couple good points one being don’t judge others. A great read…check it out.
10 Gallon Fish Tank talks about Fish Tank Stands. The article makes some important points before purchasing a fish tank stand. A few being…make sure the stand can support your fish tank and be sure the stand can fit in your environment.
The Switch 2 Life blog sends us some great images of fish in Life In Deep Waters. I love the images. However, what is the first image? Looks like the Loch ness montser…
Salad Sticks talks about the fact that Fish Are More Than Decoration. Salad Sticks mentions the many health benefits associated with owning fish. I haven’t myself owned a fish for several years, but as a dog owner I can tell you that there are definitely health benefits to owning a pet.
Our final article is a limerick from Mad Kane’s Humor Blog called Fishing For Company. I didn’t know fish could have insomnia….check out the link for more information on the insomniac zebrafish.

@Tim_W, I started running these pet carnivals a while back and I wasn’t really getting the support I had hoped from the carnival participants.
I put a lot of time into gathering articles, writing short summaries, commenting on articles included in our carnivals, but very few reciprocated.
As of now we’re on hold, but hopefully when I have more time I’ll start up again. I’ll keep your name in the queue for our next fish carnival.
