Welcome to the first edition of the Cat Carnival presented by PetCarnivals.com.  The Cat Carnival is a place for everything Cat.  We hope to gather articles here from cat owners offering tips, tricks, and other useful information about cats and kittens of all breeds and ages.

Now lets take a look at this months edition of the Cat Carnival:

Cat Products

Cat Scratch PadGuffly a site with good stuff for good living presents Funky Home Accessories for cats.  Go to the Guffly blog and check out these stylish cat scratch pads.  Believe it or not my sister’s cat scratches the wall at her house (I’ll take some pictures when I have a chance).  These scratch pads would work wonders for her.  Check out the image to the left:

Animal Junior presents Cat Coloring Pages!  Do you have kids who are cat lovers?  Check out Animal Juniors Cat Coloring Pages for printable coloring pages.

Cat Tips

Pet Prattle and Products article this months is about Why You Should Want to Get Rid of Cat Fleas.  A great article on fleas something that we’ve encountered quite a bit when rescuing puppies and dogs from the shelter including internal parasites like tapeworms and puppies with severe anemia.  Check out this article to find out how to deterimine if your cat has fleas and some of the effects they may have on you and your cat.

Cat Behaviour Maven talks about her cat Sophie in A Cat with Kidney Disease.  Poor Sophie has been diagnosed with kidney disease.  Fortunately her pills and hydration can be adminstered at home rather than at the vet.  Check out the article to see more on how Sophie enjoy taking her pills by using Greenie Pill Pockets.

Home Life Weekly has a recipe…but perhaps not the kind your thinking about.  This recipe is the Cat Urine Smell Remover Recipe.  Some great general tips on how to remove cat urine as well as the article mentions a Cat Urine Smell Remover Recipe.

Who Moved My Bone writes about Dasuquin for Cats.  Unfortunately I don’t follow the Who Moved My Bone blog regularly, but Dasuquin appears to be a diet pill.  The article gives some good hints on how to get your cat to take a pill.  You’ll have to follow the blog to find out the results Dasuquin and Wubba the big boned cat.

I hope everyone enjoyed this first edition of the Cat Carnival.  If you would like to submit an article to the next edition of the Cat Carnival then fill out our contact form with a link to your blog post.
